Mont-Tremblant, Québec

This years family vacation has taken me to the mountain village of Mont-Tremblant. My favourite part of the vacation has to be the scenery. There are no words to describe how beautiful this place is. Nothing beats the piece of mind and remote feeling of “Old Mont-Tremblant”. The Cap Tremblant resort is well kept and the suites are awesome. They even have a convenient reading desk nook that has two large windows looking out onto the mountains and is the home base of all my typing needs. So what can you do here you might ask. Well there is an activity centre in Mont-Tremblant where you can book any of the local activities which can be found at www.tremblant.ca. There is a little bit of everything for every age group. There are a few golf courses that can be found close by. If you are interested in trails and biking then you’ll be right at home here. They have an extensive trail system for pedestrians. Cyclists will need to get a membership with the FQSC to enjoy the biking trails which can be purchased at Guest Services in Mont-Tremblant and click here to see what biking trails they have to offer. Another great thing about the area are the people. Everyone here is so nice and helpful. No matter where you go they will help you with a smile whether they speak English or not. There is only one thing that ruins the area… The race track that creates the noise pollution and that may bother some. Overall, Mont-Tremblant has definitely shown me that it is not just a winter hot spot but also a summer haven. I will definitely visit again and if you haven’t then you should too.
